Dear Chen, The San Fernando and San Gabriel Valley Sections of ASQ are partnering for our third annual Southern California Quality Conference on October 23rd 2010, at the Kellogg West Conference Center at Cal Poly Pomona. Since its inception as joint event between Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley sections in 2008, the conference has grown steadily each year to be one of the best attended one day quality conferences in Region 7. The theme of this years’ conference is “The Current State of Quality in America”. The conference will feature several nationally known speakers including ASQ President, David Spong, and keynote speaker, Patti Harvey, VP of Quality, Risk Management and Patient Care Services at Kaiser Permanente. Topics include a panel discussion on "40 years of Quality", along with concurrent sessions on Lean Six Sigma, Innovation, Governance, Standards, and many other areas of interest ranging from beginning to advanced stages. The early bird price of $65 for ASQ members, ($85 non-members), includes admission to the all-day conference with sponsor booths, access to the conference presentations with lunch and refreshments provided.
