Dear Spencer, On behalf of the American Society for Quality, I congratulate you on being named the recipient of the 2009 ASQ Lancaster Medal. In addition to our best wishes, it gives me great pleasure to offer you a complimentary registration to ASQ’s World Conference on Quality and Improvement to be held at the America’s Center in St. Louis, MO May 24-26, 2010. The presentation of your certificate and award will take place on Sunday evening, May 23rd during ASQ’s annual business meeting. We will provide registration information and additional details in future correspondence. If you were not planning to attend the World Conference this year, I hope the receipt of this honor will persuade you to do so. If you have already paid for your registration, we will reimburse you.
